This episode starts with AJ and Fluttershy being called by the map. They are sent to Las Pegasus, basically Las Vegas, and they obviously aren't very happy about it. They meet the owner of a hotel there called Gladmane, who has similar mannerisms to Elvis. They chat and he knows who they are as he is a self-proclaimed 'friendship connoisseur'. He gives them a tour of the resort and they run into several employees who all love Gladmane and call him a true friend. AJ and Flutters seem a bit confused as they can't find a problem, until they hear the familiar tones of Flim and Flam. It turns out they have a friendship problem, but AJ refuses to help and promises to find another problem. Flim and Flam have fallen out over a disagreement in business, and when AJ can't find a problem, she finds that the employees have all fallen out with their friend or partner over similar issues. They both realize that these issues have benefited only one pony; Gladmane. They try and talk to the other ponies about him but they all defend him and are insulted he was being questioned. AJ and Shy both realize that he is turning them against each other so they don't leave and go to another resort, as they only trust Gladmane. Shy convinces AJ to enlist the help of Flim and Flam by fixing their issues. They set up a trap for Gladmane by making him believe he is under threat to another pony, who is Flutters in disguise. They try and trap him but it ends up backfiring and Gladmane is one step ahead, he knew about the trick, which is nice. One thing I do have to critique here is that Gladmane has a scene where he talks to Flam and makes him stay at the resort by threatening him. Why is that scene there? We already have built up that he is a conpony that is willing to use friendship to suit his needs. It feels pointless and sticks out. Anyway, Gladmane invites AJ and Shy into his office and he gloats to them about how he can do what he wants and how he cons his employees but they have tricked him and he has said this over the speaker. He gets kicked out and we get a nice Elvis joke. Then, we end on Flim and Flam taking over the resort and a decent ending. Overall, this episode is fine. There is nothing particularly bad about it but there isn't much great about it. The story is okay, Gladmane is a decent character, F&F get some good character development, AJ learns a good lesson. But it isn't majorly entertaining, the plot is quite predictable and that random scene is annoying.

I actually quite like this, Las Pegasus was a wonderful new location. And Gladmane was close to being a villain who doesn't see himself as one, someone who thinks he's doing everything for the right reasons, and actually has reason to think that. Plus, it provides a reason for Flim and Flam to get back together, and for both Applejack and Fluttershy to be there. They could've easily said Applejack was in the wrong for not considering Flim and Flam as a friendship problem, that even after everything they did they deserved to just be forgiven because they had a falling out. But instead, Applejack was shown to be in the right and that was intentional for her to discover the underlying problem, but that Fluttershy deserved to be there too, and her roll was necessary. Really, the only thing to even remotely dislike, is how Fluttershy learns of Gladmane's methods, it's just a little too convient.
